Are you a qualified and licensed crafts teacher who wants to inspire students to create, think, and solve problems with their hands and minds? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We at Västerholm are now seeking an engaged and skilled teacher in wood and metal crafts for grades 3–9.

About the position

As a crafts teacher with us, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing the teaching in wood and metal crafts. You will create a safe, structured, and creative learning environment where students can develop their imagination, problem-solving skills, and craftsmanship.

In our well-equipped craft room, there are good conditions for varied and safe teaching. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, and we value interdisciplinary cooperation that strengthens students' learning.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a clear and inspiring educator with good subject knowledge, practical experience, and a creative approach. You enjoy working with children and young people and have the ability to meet them where they are – with respect, structure, curiosity, and high expectations. You are confident in your leadership, create a calm atmosphere in the craft room, and see the value in building good relationships with students.

You have a teaching license with qualifications in crafts.
